5 Reasons why you should get a Mac.
A Mac is a revolutionary computer system made by Apple, they run the OS X operating system, the latest release is Leopard. Here are five reasons why I think you should buy a Mac instead of a Windows PC. 1. So clever - Macs are much more intuitive and clever than a PCs, in many ways, one main way that I really like about the OS X operating system is that the OS seems to integrate itself into your applications, for example, if you press shutdown and you have an unsaved document open, OS X will completely cease shutting down, the program counting the open document will ask you if you would like to save the document, once you choose your answer OS X will continue to shut down. 2. No Viruses - This is a very debatable topic, some people say they have received viruses on a mac, but I have been using them for more than 8 years, and I have never received one virus! I run a routine system scan every month and it has never picked up one virus or piece of adware/spyware in 8 years, if you ask me, that is extremely impressive! 3. Cover Flow and Quick Look - A feature introduced in the latest release of OS X, Leopard, you can quickly skim through all your document in coverflow and view a live preview of them, you can even play videos right from coverflow. Quick look allows you to preview any file instantly without opening any programs, just by pressing the space bar, right in finder! 4. Faster - OS X handles applications very different from Windows, therefore if you take two computer with identical hardware, one a Mac and one a PC, the Mac will run much faster than the PC, and I have tested this myself not so long ago it is true! Macs can also multitask much better! 5. "Everything Just Works" - A claim by apple, but you know what, everything really does, Just Work. Macs are just so simple yet so clever and intuitive, the OS is extremely stable, my Mac hasn't crashed once in 8 years! Any peripherals I have ever plugged into my Mac just works instantly, no messing and no installing drivers! I hope I have inspired many of you to buy a Mac! Kind Regards
