The New 8 Wonders of The Natural World
Eight new Natural wonders of the world have been added to the World Heritage List. There are now a massive 878 marvelous sites on the World Heritage List, the 8 new sites that have been added this year are:
Joggins Fossil Cliffs, Located in Canada Mount Sanqingshan National Park, Located in China Socotra Archipelago, Located in Yemen Lagoons of New Caledonia: Reef Diversity and Associated Ecosystems, Located in France Surtsey, Located in Iceland Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve, Located in Mexico Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona, Located in Switzerland Saryarka - Steppe and Lakes of Northern Kazakhstan, Located in Kazakhstan
The World Heritage List aims to help preserve these wonderful locations. |
